"Alice" the photographer

I asked my niece, Stacy, to take some shots of our family as well as of the kids. She is so good with her camera and very patient with her unwilling subjects. ( no, not the kids... JIM!) :)

Summer Time

The summer is going very quickly and the kids are growing as fast as the weeds in Helaina's garden. Helaina has been able to harvest a tomato, an onion, cucumbers and some brocoli (and I can't spell that word I guess). Breleigh is now sitting in the "hop and pop" like a real big girl. She doesn't last a real long time but she seems to enjoy the more upright position.

Breleigh is 2 Months

She had a VERY very big smile behind the 2!

Yes, the 2 is backwards- who pays attentions to details when you are trying to get a smile!?!

Breleigh is now 2 months old. She visited the doctor today and she is healthy. She scored 50% for her head, height and weight. She was NOT a fan of the shots she got today but we assured her it was a necessary evil. She weighs almost 11 pounds too!

Helaina helped me take some pictures of Breleigh to celebrate her second month. I just love the way Breleigh looks at Helaina.

Rainbows and Crack

We were playing with a crystal in Helaina's room and we had a lot of fun making them land on Helaina. She loved to look at the pictures to see the rainbow!
Can we say- White Trash Toddler! I just couldn't resist this shot. Hope it doesn't offend anyone! It makes me laugh. I am thinking it will be a good one to save for her high school graduation party or for her first date! hehehehe

Breleigh- 1 Month

Can't believe it has been a month! She is such a good girl. She has been great sleeper so far and very calm. What did we do before Breleigh?

Spring Baby

We took Breleigh outside the other evening while we were waiting for Papa to come home with Chinese food. It sure is different having a Spring baby compared to a winter baby!


Helaina and her daddy are planting a garden together this year. Helaina got to pick out the plants. Now we will see what grows!

Ok, so I have no idea how to post with multiple pictures and captions for each. I think I need a lesson! Hang in there while I try to figure this whole blogging thing out!

Introducing our newest Family Member!

We would like to introduce Breleigh Elizabeth Moran! More pictures will be posted soon that include the Big Sister. I just haven't had time to get to the basement to get them on the blog. Thank you to Heather for the birth announcement. I just love her work.
Breleigh has been a pretty good baby so far. She takes a bottle so easy and is much easier to burp than her sister ever was! Her sleeping seems pretty consistent with a new born. She has surprised me on two occassion and slept for as long as seven hours in the night. (I love those stretches) Breleigh was born with a little birth mark above her left eyebrow and it has been named her "kissing spot". Helaina talks about her kissing spot all the time.
Helaina is feeling a little jealous but having Nana here has really helped free up some mommy time for her. There is no doubt she will soon get over her issues!
