Notice the bare feet? She does not get this from me! I fight her daily on keeping her socks on!
Breleigh and her baby!
Getting ready for bed with daddy!
Helaina (AKA- Vanna) showing off her handy work on the whiteboard!
Isn't this a classy look. I hear it is the new look for Spring!
This picture was taken with the regular flash.
This photo was taken with the flash and a lightscoop. (Thanks to Jaci for that little hint- awesome)
Breleigh helping to clean up the table. Mommy's little helper!
Helaina and her buddy Parker!
Bald Eagle Days was really fun. We probably went more to see the wolves than the eagles this year. Helaina really liked the wolves. Thanks to my zoom lens we got some cool shots of the wolf!
Breleigh is showing off her wolf tattoo. She, of course, chose what Helaina was going to have on her arm. Both girls also got a wolf stuffed animal to take home with them. Helaina is in love with a little wolf she got at the zoo this past summer. She found "Wolfie's" Mama at bald eagle days. Of course, both girls had to have one!
I am not exactly sure what game this was when it started but Helaina tied Breleigh to the kitchen and Breleigh didn't seem to mind. I feel like that sometimes... tied to the kitchen.
After I cleaned out the playroom Helaina found her favorite place to sit. Of course, after she blocked herself in she didn't want to get back out to get things. Guess who she asked to help her out with that? Hehehehehehe- turns out that little sisters are good for something after all. ;)
2011 is going great for us here at Moran House. Jim is working A LOT which has been quite an adjustment for us three girls at home. He loves working for Weight Watchers and works three nights a week and Saturday morning. I just keep telling myself that at least he isn't at the bar, at the casino or golfing!
Helaina is still loving preschool. She really adores everything about school. She is still taking dance and has the CUTEST costume for her recital. It really is the cutest one out of all of them. Is she going to be a professional dance one day? Ummmmm..... I guess that depends on if she ever learns to skip! hehehehehehehehehe We are going to try something different this summer. I just signed Helaina up for a 10 week session of Jr. theater. I really have no idea what to expect. The class sounded like it would be right up her alley. Fingers crossed on that one!
Breleigh is NOT a baby anymore! It seems that even just since Christmas Breleigh has grown by leaps and bounds. She is stringing more and more words together and she is getting a little easier to understand. She wants to be extremely independent these days. She wants to put her coat on, her hat, her boots, etc. I wish she would get a little more independent when it comes to wanting to go potty on the big girl potty. She has caught on to the making herself go when I put her on but she hasn't really caught on to NOT going when she is wearing her big girl panties. (I know she isn't 2 yet but I was so hopeful)
Both the girls are a true blessing. Being a stay at home mom is the BEST job I have ever had!

Growing like a Weed
There has been a lot of "growing" going on in the house! The top picture is of Helaina now that she is 4! In the picture I am looking at the growth chart looks a little goofy. The numbers looks like they are on the trim to the door. Isn't that odd! My sister gave me the new cherries for the wall so that I could have a splash of color. I just love it! If you compare to the one below I think it really makes it pop!
A lot can change in a year. I can't even begin to explain all the wonderful things that Helaina is able to do now. Of course, there are also many "not so charming" things that she can do now too! She is still our loving pride and joy though!!!!
