Easton is now 4 months and is growing like a weed! This weather we have been having has been wonderful! We have been able to get outside more and Easton doesn't seem to mind taking a snooze in the Ergo carrier! While I was trying to take this picture I kept attempting to get him to take his hands away from his mouth. Then I realized how silly I was! I am always trying to take the monthly picture with something that shows what he is up to at this stage of his life. Right now he is learning to sit in the bumbo and he CONSTANTLY has his hands in his mouth! So... I guess he was just smarter than me!
Things we know about Easton
-loves to be held
-loves his sisters
-is very ticklish when getting his clothes changed and does a very breathy laugh during the whole process
-screams like you are killing him when you give him a bath( i have tried less water, more water, warmer water, cooler water, singing, talking etc, etc, etc.) He takes a VERY quick bath these days! Maybe he is big enough to sit in the tub and play with toys? fingers crossed!
-has a VERY large smile and a mouth he needs to grow in to!
-ate cereal for the first time like he had been eating food for a month. (the cereal doesn't even have to be runny!)
- likes to roll on his side but has figured out how to get that one arm out of the way to roll all the way over
- still doesn't love naps in his bed but might be showing progress
Yesterday I had him on the play mat while I was folding laundry and Helaina was in the family room with him. He was awfully quiet so I went to check on him. Helaina had slipped him his pacifier (he was a little fussy) and he had fallen fast asleep. I chose to leave him in that spot. I covered him with a blanket and the silly little kid slept for two hours with the TV blaring! I didn't dare turn it off! hehehehehe
All in all things are going great with Mr. Man (as Breleigh calls him). He goes for his 4 month check this Friday so we will have medical proof of this later! ;)
We just enjoyed a visit from Nana and Papa and Auntie Heather, Grayson and Reagan. More pics from the visit soon!

Nap time
The kid doesn't like to nap in his bed but give him his pacifier while playing under the play mat and he zonks right out! Crazy baby!
Small town pleasures
Jim was craving some corn beef and cabbage and he didn't convince me to make it on march 17th so on the 18th he was anxious to enjoy some at Brother's! But...... They were out! So he ordered the ribs and they were out of those too. So. Seeing as we are regulars they made some corned beef and cabbage special.... Just for him!!! Love a small town!
New swimsuit!
Finally had to give up the taking idea. Bottoms were too big when the top fit! I like this one piece!
Eiffel tower?
Helaina was so proud to spot a cloud shaped like the Eiffel tower. Hmmmm. Looked like something different to me!

Bon Jour
Wasn't really sure how to explain this picture so I decided to take an excerpt from preschool evaluation
"she loves to learn about new things and is very interested in geography and anything related to Paris, France,
( since she is going to go there someday).
I am her hero because I actually own a real French beret. I am sure I will lose my hero status when she finds out that her auntie heather has actually been there! Now. Where do I find a beret that will actually fit her head?

What's in a Name?
What's in a name? Apparently, A LOT! To make a VERY long story short I will say this... My husband loved me ENOUGH to support me and agreed to make our babies name officially "Easton"! This was huge for me! So... welcome to the family again.....
Easton James Moran
Size DOES Matter
I tried a new recipe I found on Pinterest and while it sounded really good it really didn't live up to my expectations. Jim and I decided it wasn't worth the temptation to have it around because it really wasn't that fantastic! So... after taking it out of the pan her pretended to take a bite and I asked him if we should photograph it for his Weight Watchers friends. He proceeded to tell me that the topic this week is "Portion Sizes" So... I couldn't resist! If Sam's get's their printer fixed he will be showing this picture at his meetings this week!
Topping Tornado
This is called a "Topping Tornado" You put your sprinkles in the top and push the plunger and it decorates your frosted dessert for you! We broke this bad boy out on Friday when we had friends over. It was pretty fun to watch. I think the kids enjoyed it!
Now, here is a lesson that important to learn when using the Topping Tornado.... it doesn't actually lock together so when you pick it up... it will fall apart and make a mess ALL OVER THE FLOOR! Is there anything sexier than a man with a vacuum? (hehehehehehehehe)
